I happened to notice a Twitter activity about nasal allergy recently and was tempted to tweet about it So, threw my hat into the ring. It was truly an eye opener.

We
frequently find ourselves suffering from runny nose, watery eyes, itchy throat
and frequent rapid sneezing - few very common symptoms of Nasal Allergy, and
worse still, they appear all at once! More often than not we mistake it for
common cold wherein they appear one at a time. Also, along with common cold we
experience fever and body ache, not so in the case of Nasal Allergy. Yet
another difference between common cold and nasal allergy is that in the former
condition, mucus is thick and yellow whereas in the latter it is clear, watery
and thin.
Here are
some home remedies for Nasal Allergy:
Remedy # 1
Mix a
spoonful of Ragi flour (Finger millet flour) and turmeric powder. Put the
powder over burning coal. Inhale the fumes that appear on putting the powder.
Note:
It is easier to inhale the fumes if
you cover your head with a thick towel or woolen blanket.
Turmeric powder alone can also be put
on burning charcoal and fumes inhaled.
It is advisable not to drink water
for about 4 to 5 hours after inhaling the fumes.
Remedy # 2

day.
Remedy # 3
