CB 1: Stint at mixing colours (5) TINTS
CB 2: Stormed into Edgar (5) RAGED
CB 3: Can ears burn? (4) SEAR
CB 4: Layer of vine (4) VEIN
CB 5: Nidhi, can you speak Indian language? (5) HINDI

In each of the above clues, words coloured in red are “Questions” i.e. they are words/phrase for which you have to give a synonym as Answer. Words in italic are anagrammed to create a new word which is the synonym i.e. the Answer.

For example, in CB 1, answer is TINTS because it is a synonym of the word “colours” and is derived by anagramming letters of the word “stint
