Hints to solve Cryptic Clues Type “F” CF 16 to CF 20


CF 16: A number one can't state "Yes, it's not odd" (5)
Answer = Synonym of “A number” = Anagram of (Code for “yes” + Synonym of  ”it’s not odd”)

CF 17: Informs before one allows a pupil in (5)
Answer = Synonym of “Informs” = Anagram of (Synonym of  ”allows” + Code for “pupil”)

CF 18: Enemy from railways seen in a lobby (5)
Answer = Synonym of “lobby” = Anagram of (Synonym  of  ”Enemy” + Code for “railways”)

CF 19: Artist's frame on the west barred the entry of a wretch (6)
Answer = Synonym of “wretch” = Anagram of (Synonym  of  ”Artist’s frame” + Code for “west”)

CF 20: Be on the street, it is quite wide (5)
Answer = Synonym of “wide” = Anagram of (Code for “be” + Synonym  of  ”street” )
