W...W...W: Vasudev Shyam

(This poem is for Vasudev Shyam, son of my dear friend Jyothi Shyam)

Towering taller, soaring higher, flying farther
Head held high.
While you go places smelling success,
Lost in the World Wide Web, you may be
Dreaming in our own world, we too shall be.

While we resume dreaming
Even as we are doodling
One fine morning, we wake up yawning,
Up from bed we spring, dawning
“Hey, where on earth is v…dev?”
Hear, hear
Here comes the voice of …Vasu
“Just go googling ‘www’,
And read me up there under
World’s Who’s Who!
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Mangala Madhuchand

(ps: Penned this poem on behalf of your  World’s Well Wishers)
